I joke that this dress kind of makes me feel like a cupcake since it’s almost over-the-top girly, with a giant, pastel floral print and a pleat in the skirt. It’s actually one of those magical dresses that makes you look instantly put-together but is secretly super-comfortable – the product description calls it “textured sweatshirt fabric,” and they’re not joking – it’s super soft, slightly stretchy, almost plush, and the skirt still holds its shape. I like to wear it with my trusty Birks to tone down the sweetness and make it look just a little more like a casual summer dress.
