JuicyCanvas Customizable Art Indie1

I just talked about my search for new art in this post – and I’m coming back to you with another great company! JuicyCanvas, created by a husband and wife, is putting the ‘custom’ back in ‘customer’ – allowing you to select amazing art on their site and customize it to make it your own. (Don’t worry, no artists are harmed – they’ve given permission for their art to be used) It’s super easy to use, and there’s tons of great art to choose from. I love these bikes, lemons, and cityscape, and I’m hoping to add them to my gallery wall! Right now, they have an Indiegogo campaign going on – if you back them, you can get some awesome products, and help them build their business and provide even cooler products to put your remixed art on – we’re talking American Apparel clothes, tote bags, throw pillows and more. Go donate and support the arts now!

Art, Please!

Have you heard of Society6? It’s this awesome website that produces the work of tons of artists from around the world in the form of prints, phone cases, t-shirts, pillows, and more. Bonus – you can get the art in one of five sizes, and it’s all pretty cheap (especially smaller prints). I’m planning a revamp of my bedroom (details coming soon) and I’m going to create a huge gallery wall, so I looked at the site for a good long time to pick out some prints to add in. Naturally, I ended up finding way more stuff than I actually need or have room for. I thought I’d share a few of my picks with you…in addition to some phone cases I’m swooning over.

September is almost here, and no matter how young or old you are, it always seems to feel like back to school. This time last year, I spent hours on end at IKEA buying an unhealthy amount of office furniture (you can see stages of the reno here). I’m always looking to add to my office and improve it (my latest obsession is Poppin – where was it last year when I needed it?!), but if I had the chance to design another office space, I’d go in a slightly different direction. Right now I’m loving the idea of a clean white office with accents of gold and light pink – it’s feminine without being frilly, and classic while still being modern. Above is a little inspiration board I whipped up – everything is less than $45, too!

Keep it Together

Let it be known that I have a minor obsession with tiny bowls for holding trinkets, earrings, rings and the like. I’m currently coveting just about everything in this Etsy shop – especially the above bowls. They’re simultaneously minimalist, colorful, organic and impossibly chic. A bit pricey, yes, but they’re an investment I’d gladly make.

How adorable are these tea light holders? I could see these little guys in a cluster on a coffee table or used as an accent in a bedroom or home office. They’re clean and modern enough to fit into plenty of room decors and surprisingly cheap (pun not intended, but pleasantly surprising) – not to mention, perfect for the coming spring weather.
