Patterned shorts are an easy alternative for those who aren’t entirely ready to commit to a full pair of patterned pants (this was me last summer). While stripes and polka dots are easy to find and wear, consider buying a pair of statement shorts (I just bought these over the weekend) to spice up your wardrobe. The two pairs above feature monochromatic color schemes, making them easy to pair with tops and sweaters of a variety of colors.
