Shirt

Recently I’ve been getting into the whole graphic tee thing (I just bought a sweater with an enormous zebra on it)  – they easily make a statement and can create a variety of looks. I’m already planning my fall wardrobe, and I can see these tops paired with leggings and a cozy cardigan, or a leather skirt and booties. As soon as I find these at my H&M store, I’ll be buying both – the $15 price tag, French phrases, and soft, easy jersey-knit are right up my alley.

Pants

Fact: I used to avoid harem pants like the plague. I had never seen a pair that didn’t look horrendously cheap, and so the thought of my ever wearing them never crossed my mind. That was, until, I ran across a navy blue pair (seen here), and I was hooked. They’re polished without being constricting, and stylish while still being insanely comfortable. I’ll definitely be buying these – recently I’ve been having a moment with tropical prints, and I can see them paired with a breezy linen crop top for a casual day out.

As a side note, I’d like to point out my newly updated ‘about’ page – it’s a little more aesthetically pleasing, and you can easily learn a little bit more about me. Enjoy!

Target Dress

I think it’s become pretty obvious that I have an obsession with colorblocking. Whether it’s two monochromatic colors or hues from opposite sides of the color wheel, there’s something about the trend that gets me every time. I love the classic shape of this dress and the unique colorblock at the hem and on the shoulders. I honestly can’t decide which color combo is my favorite – but with Target’s dress sale going on right now, I might just get all three.

Wanted: Sundress

Dress

I’ll never get tired of the sundress – easy to throw on with flip flops or wedges and some delicate jewelry, and somehow perfectly fitting for every summer event. This one from H&M suits my needs – a simple silhouette that can go from Sunday brunch to a casual night out, pretty details, and a price tag you’ll find only at H&M.

Wanted: Toile Dress

ASOS Dress

Toile is something I’d never thought of as being used on a dress. That is, until I saw this – and now I’m kind of obsessed. Besides having a fabulous nature-inspired toile print, it looks super easy to wear – just throw it on with some delicate chain necklaces and wedge sandals, and you’re ready for just about any occasion. Plus, it could totally work in early fall with some tights and leather boots.
