With Valentine’s Day tomorrow, it seems appropriate to be seeing hearts everywhere (like in yesterday’s post). Unfortunately, the hearts I tend to see in the apparel department tend to be too kitschy or young-looking, but in honor of Valentine’s Day, I was able to find quite a few heart-bedecked pieces I’d gladly wear on the 14th (along with a gift for your iPhone).

I’ve always loved envelope clutches: they just feel so much more special than a regular clutch. But it just so happens that whenever I look to buy one when I’m out, all I find are cheap plastic-y ones or bags which are far out of my price range. Currently Obsessed With: Military Inspired

Recently, I’ve been having an olive moment. Usually I’m indifferent to the color (although I’m a sucker for a military-inspired jacket), but lately I’ve been eyeing up a number of olive-toned pants, neutral knits and shifts, and utility jackets. (I also found the perfect shirtdress in olive, but sadly, it sold out.) I think I’m beginning to adopt my mom’s love of anything camouflage.

Currently Obsessed With: Printed Pants

I have to say, the printed pants trend is growing on me. I used to shudder a little when I saw legs clad in hip-to-foot pattern, but I’ve come to embrace the non-traditional denim as an alternative to printed skirts. I don’t have any pairs myself (colored I do have, just not patterned), but I think I’ll add some to my collection come springtime (polka dots, anyone?). Although, I couldn’t help but notice how many fabulous pairs I was finding as I browsed a few websites. See my favorites above.

Currently Obsessed With: Peplums

The peplum seems to have continually generated more popularity since its unofficial debut earlier this year. I’ve noticed dozens of pretty peplums all over the place: long sleeved, short sleeved, tank tops, blouses, jackets, dresses, even pants – the list goes on.
